When we had the opportunity to work with Velocitek on a technical training aide, we gave it our all and had a great time doing so. The resulting work was well received, and the client was pleasantly satisfied. Like most forward thinking companies, though, the work doesn’t really stop there. At least we don’t want it to.
Velocitek is the sort of forward moving company that wants to continuously create products that serve their’s as well as broader markets. It’s growth, and we like to see it for them.
They make products that allow sailors to get the most out of their boats, because apparently, folks who race boats like to win, and win big.
The staff at Velocitek know the rules, and they know how to build a device that does what it needs to do every single time, time and time again.
They didn’t ask for taglines, and the top one (just below their “V” logo) is totally tongue in cheek, made by MANVIL and not condoned by the brand. That motto speaks to the product called the SpeedPuck, and that little super water-resistant bugger does one thing… it tells speed. It also records top-speed and direction, but who’s gonna make a party minded double entandré about direction?
The second tagline (beneath their capital logo) is also made-up by MANVIL, and not condoned by the company, but if we were betting folks, we’d say this is a sure bet.
It speaks to the heart of the company, and even more so to the heart of ocean racers. We at MANVIL have paddled canoes, and raced boats by sail and hand: The best advantage a racer has is what Velocitek gives, it gets you “As close as you can get to cheating, without crossing the line.” Proverbially, as well as literally.
We hope MANVIL’s relationship with Velocitek will continue to progress as tightly as it has. They are a rapidly growing firm, with a brilliant product and a target audience that can afford the best, which is what Velocitek sells. We at MANVIL would love to continue to watch this relationship grow, we’ll do all we can to keep them as clients.
Frankly, we also think that this graphic, as a tee, with the “V” logo on the nape of the neck, and the capital logo on the front… we think that tee would be massive!
Go get ’em Velocitek, we wanna help!
