The independent car reviewing site DownForce Motoring has been a client of ours since their inception, and we’re proud of the work that we’ve done for them. Their parent company is DownForce Media, and the parent company’s logo is a little bit Top-Gear, and a little bit Motorweek, but without the toffee nosed accent and coma inducing monotone.
DFMedia videos are locally produced here in Portland, their cars are 100% brand-new, manufacturer’s livery and we must admit to being envious of the enjoyment they seem to take in squeezing the living daylights out of the fours, sixes and eights they get to play with. How best to judge the abilities and handicaps of any car than by giving it a stern workout?
DownForce Media gets to drive new units like they stole them, and return them the way they found them, in order to give an unbiased account of just how a car really performs. And they tell all the unvarnished truth in an entertaining, well edited, and insightful manner. Which is more than can be said of some other small car review sites.
Over the past few years we have gotten to know the DownForce Media staff pretty well, and other than enjoying manufacturer press junkets, they don’t pull punches. If a car has a flaw, they will admit it. If a car shines, and these days they really have to stand out to shine, DFMedia has no problem tooting their proverbial horn.
We enjoy having the opportunity to see them expand their skill set. We like that they keep their graphics fresh. And we at MANVIL appreciate that they work hard to produce some of the best independent car review videos out there.
